Photography, practiced with intention

Exposures Lite explores Straight Out Of Camera photography through scheduled topic cycles, thoughtful constraints, and group review sessions.

Seeing before shooting

Straight Out Of Camera means:

  • Intentional exposure and composition
  • Conscious use of light and restraint
  • No post processing

A shared practice, not a showcase

  • Quarterly themes and challenges
  • Topics released for flexible shooting at the beginning of each session
  • Group discussion and reflection via Zoom
  • Feedback focused on creative approach and in-camera decisions

How it works

Exposures Lite is organized around multi-week topic cycles. Topics are released in advance, giving participants flexibility in what they shoot and when. Images are shared before each session, and the group meets online to review work together.

Discussions focus on creative intent, in-camera decisions, composition, exposure, and the technical choices made at the time of capture. Feedback is constructive, open, and grounded in shared learning rather than evaluation.

Sessions are held several times a year.
